Cultivation methods and precautions of blue flower dan

How to cultivate blue flower

Temperature and light

Blue flower dandelion likes warm and sunny environment and is not cold-resistant. The suitable temperature for growth is between 17℃ and 25℃, not exceeding 35℃ in summer, and the winter overwintering temperature should be above 7℃. Blue flower Dan likes sunlight and is relatively shade-tolerant, so it needs sufficient exposure to sunlight every day. However, do not expose it to strong sunlight in the summer, and make sure it is slightly shaded. In the winter, ensure sufficient light.

Watering and fertilizing

When the blue flower is growing vigorously, it needs to be watered abundantly. When the temperature is high, the air humidity must be ensured and the plant should be sprayed with water. The water demand is high in summer, so you can water the plant every day, replenish water in time, and water it thoroughly. In winter, reduce watering or even cut off watering.

Blue flower dandelion requires a lot of water and fertilizer during its growth period, and can be fertilized once a week during the spring and summer growing season. Liquid fertilizer is preferred. You can also spray some flower fertilizer during the bud stage to make the flowers bright and prolong the flowering period.

Soil and Repotting

The blue flower needs to be repotted in spring, and when repotting, choose sandy soil with good drainage. Take out the plant, do appropriate pruning, and then pot it with fresh soil.

Precautions for breeding of blue flower dandelion

Reproduction method

Blue Flower Dan is mainly propagated by cuttings, which is carried out in spring or summer.

During the process of blue snow flower growing into seedlings, it needs to be pinched 2 to 3 times. Pinching can delay the flowering period by about 2 weeks.

Pests and diseases

Blue flowered dandelion is susceptible to root-knot nematodes and scale insects. It can be controlled by spraying with 80% dibromochloropropane emulsifiable concentrate diluted or with 1000 times diluted 25% phosmet emulsifiable concentrate.

prune

The branches of the blue flower need to be pruned in spring, and the thin branches should be cut off. The new branches growing from the old stems will soon bloom. For plants over 3 years old, cut off old branches and remove withered flowers after flowering.
