Most agaves only bloom and bear fruit once in their lifetime. The flowering period is summer, and the plant usually dies after flowering.

Agave flower morphology

Agave is very distinctive when it blooms, because it has a huge inflorescence when it blooms, which can be up to 7 to 8 meters high, and sometimes even grow to more than 10 meters. Agave Flowering Precautions

The agave plant will die after it blooms, and it can only produce fruit through cross-pollination during flowering.

The flowering period of Agave is very long, sometimes up to 60 years. It is as rare as the flowering of the iron tree. During the cultivation process, you need to have enough patience to have a chance of seeing the flowers bloom.
