Greenovia aurea

It is found in Gran Canaria, Tenerife, El Hierro, La Gomera and La Palma.

The leaves have a large diameter when unfolded, 20-25 cm, and are light blue in color with a layer of white powder on the surface. The flowering period is May to July, and the flowers are cream yellow. After flowering, there are a large number of seeds and many side buds can grow.

These include: Pink Rose of Hierro, Gran Canaria Mountain Rose, Tenerife Mountain Rose.

Large Mountain Rose (Greenovia diplocycla)

The petals are thick and often grow mixed with Golden Mountain Rose. They are about 10-20 cm in diameter and are quite similar to Golden Mountain Rose, making it difficult to distinguish them.

The phylloxera is slightly smaller, but the flowers are larger. The leaves are yellowish green with a layer of white powder on the surface.

In summer the leaves are folded into a cup shape and surrounded by dry leaves.

These include: Plumeria Rose, Agando, Guarimiar.

Emerald Orb (Greenovia dodrentalis)

Distributed at an altitude of 350m in Tenerife, in remote eastern and western areas, it has a diameter of 10cm and is very easy to grow side buds. The inflorescence is 20cm high.

Currently the most common mountain rose variety in China.

Greenovia aizoon

This mountain rose is relatively rare and is found on the southern high island of Tenerife, on the northern slope at an altitude of 950m.

The leaves are dark green and covered with a thin layer of hairs. Compared with other varieties, the plant is smaller, with a diameter of 2-4 cm.

In spring, many side buds grow at the bottom. The flowering period is from February to April. The inflorescence is up to 12 cm long and the flowers are golden yellow. After the flowers fade, the mother plant withers and the side buds continue to grow.
