The Growth of Ji Longyue Laozhu

The Growth of Ji Longyue Laozhu

Step 1: Buds of Jilongyue

After a period of care, some small buds will emerge on the stems, which can be seen if you observe carefully. So don't touch this place casually to avoid wiping off the buds.

With normal care, the small buds will slowly grow after 10 days.

After about a month, small plants grew out, which were pink and tender, and small buds appeared nearby.

Step 2: Jilongyue grows taller

It’s okay if you want the old stump to grow a little bit. Place the plant in a cool place for a period of time. After the stem has obviously elongated, restore light.

The small plants on the stems have grown up and slowly squeezed out the leaves of the big plants. You can also pinch off the leaves and re-graft them.

Step 3: Picking leaves from Jilongyue

When the stem is long enough and is surrounded by small plants, you can remove the individual leaves on the stem.

The remaining bare stems have the imposing manner of an old stump.
