It is recommended to choose spring as the cutting time for Chinese toon every year. The specific time is between April and June. Generally, the cuttings will take root in about 20 days after cutting.

For rooting of Toona sinensis, choose new woody branches that have grown that year, soak them in 4% rooting solution, and place them in a warm place to wait for germination.
