The difference between Falling Flower Dance and Immortal Finger

Different flowering periods

The Dancing Flower usually blooms in May and June. The flowering period of fairy finger is from December to February of the following year.

Different flower types

The plant of Dancing Flowers is multi-branched and grows in a clump-like shape. The leaves are thick and fleshy, usually with 3-5 ribs, but can also be flat or irregularly angular, with purple-red edges.

Its flowers are smaller and the receptacle is four-sided. The flower tube is short, the petals are single-layered, and the petals are arranged regularly and neatly. The flowers are pink and very similar to those of the fairy finger. They are difficult to distinguish, but can be more accurately identified by looking at the stem nodes.

The petals of the fairy finger are slender, delicate, multi-layered, regular and neat, and fold backwards when blooming. The pistil is red and the stamens are white, both are long and extend out of the flower tube, similar to Christmas cactus.

The edges of the nodes are sharp and the stem is green all over. The leaves are purple-red when young and green when mature. The fairy finger has a double-layered flower, which generally hangs down.

Different colors

The Falling Flower Dance has many colors and a fresh fragrance.

The colors of the fairy finger flowers are mostly pure red, pink, light yellow, and pure white.

Different stem nodes (leaves)

The nodes (leaves) of the Dancing Flower are ridge-shaped, usually with three or four edges, and no more than five edges, and the edges are also purple-red. Under grafting conditions, thicker, flatter nodes may appear.

The nodes (leaves) of the cactus finger stem are flat and obovate, with no sharp teeth on the leaf edges and a shallow wavy shape.

Different growth habits

The Dance of Fallen Flowers prefers a warm and humid environment.
