Flower language of baby's breath

Flower language of baby's breath

Flower Language

The flower language of baby's breath is longing, youth, dreams, and true love. It implies purity, far-reaching ambition and romance.

When someone gives you a handful of baby's breath, it means I miss you. You are pure and give me a dream. I really like you and I am happy to have you. This is the romance I want to give you. And we watch over love together, let me care about you, miss you (this longing is not that missing), I don’t want to be your supporting role, you are my true love and you have a pure heart.

Legend 1

In the Greek kingdom, there were two very good sisters. They live happily together every day without any secrets from each other.

One day, a young boy came to this small mountain village and fell on the roadside with serious injuries. The younger sister saved the boy, and while he was unconscious, he remembered a pair of gentle eyes looking at him, hoping that he could survive. The younger sister asked her elder sister to take care of the boy while she went to get a doctor. During this time, the boy came to his senses and mistakenly thought that it was his sister who saved him. That night, the elder sister said to her younger sister, "I have fallen in love with that boy." The younger sister watched them become a couple and live happily together every day. Seeing her sister's happiness, the younger sister hid her love for the boy again and again.

Until one day, someone came to this small mountain village in pursuit of the boy. He threatened the lives of all the villagers to force the boy to show up. The sister was scared and begged the boy to leave the village. But at the moment when the boy was about to leave, his sister knocked him out, dressed up as the boy, and was killed. The blood dyed the entire mountain village red, but the girl's soul was still hanging in the night sky.

When the flower goddess learned about this, she merged her scattered soul into the grass where the boy had fainted. As a result, the grass was covered with mottled white petals, which are baby's breath.

Legend II

Legend has it that Mantianxing was a shepherd boy who would drive his sheep to graze on the grassland every day and lived a leisurely and comfortable life. One day, a father and his daughter moved to the grassland and made a living by herding horses. Soon the boy and the girl went together to herd sheep and horses by the only small river in the grassland. The riverside is very beautiful. Sheep and horses like to stay there. Young boys and girls also like to stay there, dipping their feet in the water and looking at the white clouds and blue sky.

But one day a bully came to the grassland, took a fancy to the girl, and planned to take her away to be his concubine. The betrothal gifts were forcibly piled up in the girl's home. The wedding was to take place the next day, but the girl refused to obey, so the boy prepared to leave with her overnight and flee from here. At night, they ran to the river, where there was a small boat that could take them across the river. But the bully heard the news and rushed over with his servants. The boy and the girl finally ran to the river. The boy let the girl get on the boat first. When he was about to get on the boat, he was shot in the heart by the arrow of the evil servant. The boy fell in a pool of blood. The girl wanted to get off the boat to save him, but the pursuers had already caught up. The boy urged the captain to start the boat. The captain sighed and held up the pole.

The young man watched the ship sail away safely, smiled and closed his eyes. His soul slowly floated into the air and turned into a sky full of stars, illuminating the ship as it sailed at night. The next day, the boy's body disappeared strangely, and only the river was suddenly covered with a lot of fine grass and many white flowers. Since then, people have called this plant baby's breath.
