The fragrant wood has the function of purifying the air and repelling mosquitoes. It is very suitable for potted cultivation at home. The appearance of the fragrant wood is very similar to a certain plant, that is, the Taiwan pepper tree. In the flower market, many merchants sell pepper wood as fragrant wood, so how can we distinguish it?

Just look at the leaves. The fragrant wood has even-pinnate leaves and the compound leaves are alternate. Therefore, the number of leaves of fragrant wood is always even, while the leaves of pepper wood are odd-pinnate and opposite. Just look at the odd and even numbers on the tails of the leaves to easily distinguish between fragrant wood and pepperwood!
