2. Lavender can be sown, propagated, or layered. Propagation by root division is generally based on sowing and cuttings.

3. Lavender is propagated by sowing. The regular sowing period is March to June or September to October. Lavender seeds are small and have a long dormancy period. They should be soaked for 12 hours before sowing, then soaked in 20-50 mg/kg gibberellin for 2 hours before sowing.

4. Pay attention to spraying water during the seedling stage. When the seedlings are too dense, thin them out appropriately and pot them when they are about 10 cm tall.

5. Select healthy and sound mother plants, cut annual semi-lignified branches with full tissues and not heading from the mother plants, remove the top, 5 to 6 cm long, insert them into water for 2 hours, and then insert them into the prepared culture soil with a depth of 1 to 2 cm. Water them thoroughly after insertion.

6. Pay attention to using a shade net with a light transmittance of more than 80% for shade, and always keep the potting soil moist. The plants will take root about 2 to 3 weeks after planting. After taking root, use a shade net with a light transmittance of 50% for shade until the cool autumn. Put the plants in pots one month after planting.
