Feng Shui Placement Taboos for Anthurium

Feng Shui Placement Taboos for Anthurium

1. Avoid placing it under strong light

Anthurium is a plant that likes semi-shady environment. It is very shade-tolerant and cannot adapt to locations with too strong light such as south balconies and south windowsills. Moreover, the environment under strong light is usually drier. When the soil and air humidity are low, the leaves of Anthurium are prone to cracking, yellowing, curling, and producing burnt spots, affecting its growth.

2. Avoid placing it in a place with polluted air

Anthurium has a certain effect of purifying the air and can absorb harmful gases such as benzene, formaldehyde, and trichloroethylene in the air. However, if you want it to grow healthy and strong, do not place it in a place with polluted air, strong smell of oil smoke, and poor air circulation, such as bathrooms, kitchens, etc., which will affect its breathing and growth to a certain extent. From the perspective of Feng Shui, locations with polluted and uncirculated air are prone to foul air, which is in conflict with the Feng Shui symbols of good luck, joy, and wealth represented by the anthurium.

3. Avoid placing in low temperature place

Anthurium is a plant that originally grows in tropical rainforests, so it cannot tolerate low temperature environments, which may cause it to be frostbitten or grow poorly, manifested by a large number of leaves falling off and growth stagnation. Anthurium symbolizes enthusiasm and wealth and is very auspicious. If it is kept in a low temperature environment for a long time, it will block the feng shui and fortune of the anthurium.
