Kapok plants are naturally drought-resistant, so you don’t need to water them too frequently when growing them in potted plants. No matter which growth stage or season it is, watering should be carried out according to the principle of keeping it dry rather than wet. Water the plant when you find the soil in the pot is dry, and water it in moderation without any accumulation of water. In addition, if there are continuous rainy days, you must take shelter from the rain and drain the rainwater. Flooding is strictly prohibited.

1. Prepare the potting soil: The root system of kapok is relatively large, so choose a slightly larger flowerpot when planting. The soil should be loose, breathable, well-drained and slightly acidic. Such a potting soil environment is more conducive to the growth of kapok flowers.
