The language and legend of the mountain Michelia

The flower language of the mountain Michelia

The flower language of Michelia in the mountains is reserved, implicit, beautiful, solemn and noble.

When the jasmine in the mountains blooms, it looks like a beautiful woman with white face, red lips, and a smile between her eyebrows. Therefore, the mountain Michelia to a large extent represents the traditional Chinese implicit and reserved character.

Because the mountain smilax is pure white and as beautiful as a woman, people have given it an image of beauty and noble qualities.

The legend of the mountain smile

Legend has it that during the Song Dynasty, there were a group of loving couples in Lin'an Prefecture. They were in love and lived in harmony. But unfortunately, the Yuan army invaded Lin'an. When they parted, the husband broke the mirror and asked his wife and himself to take half each, and agreed that if they survived, they would sell the broken mirrors at the market on the 15th of every month.

Five years later, after going through all kinds of hardships, the couple was finally reunited.

Later, the two returned to their hometown and lived a loving and peaceful life in the countryside. Finally, the couple, who were 88 years old, died together on the same year, month, day and time, and a tree grew on their joint grave. The flowers are pure white, shaped like jasmine, and fragrant. It is said that this is the mountain Michelia.
