Reproduction

Water and Soil

The tassel tree does not have high requirements for soil, but it grows best in loose sandy loam with sufficient water and nutrients. The tassel tree likes a humid and warm environment very much, but it is necessary to ensure that the water used for irrigation can flow and not accumulate.

The fringe tree prefers warm climates but can tolerate cold temperatures. The tassel tree prefers sunlight but can tolerate shade as well.

Pest control

The biggest pest to the tassel tree is the beetle, which can chew through its roots and kill the entire plant. There are two most common defense methods: one is to use chlorpyrifos, mix it with water and pour it into the pot; the other is to spray its leaves with dichlorvos.
