Steps for hydroponic pea seedlings

Step 1: Seed Selection

This step is very important as it affects the germination rate of the peas you sow. You can use the salt water method. Specifically, add 40g of salt into 100ml of water and stir, then put the seeds in, scoop out those floating on the water and throw them away, and those that sink to the bottom are the healthy seeds that we can use! Then sterilize with hot water.

Step 2: Germination

Soak the peas in tap water in a clean, stain-free basin for two days.

Step 3: Planting seeds

Place a layer of napkins in the planting tray and wet the paper with a spray bottle. Spread the seeds evenly on top and cover with another napkin. Then move to a lighted area. Remember to water the plants directly on the napkin every day. After two or three days, you can uncover it and see sprouts.

Step 4: Maintenance

The temperature should be controlled at around 15-20 degrees Celsius. It is difficult for pea seedlings to grow above 30 degrees Celsius or below 10 degrees Celsius.

Isn’t it very simple? As summer is approaching, why not plant one and show off your skills in front of your family?
