What's wrong with the leaves of Cineraria wilt? What should I do if the leaves wilt?

What's wrong with the leaves of Cineraria wilt? What should I do if the leaves wilt?

1. Strong light

Cineraria prefers an environment with sufficient light, but strong sunlight can also cause the leaves to lose water and wilt. It is a short-day plant and the lighting time should not be too long, generally more than 3 hours. It usually needs to be exposed to light in the early morning or evening, and moved to semi-shade before noon to avoid being exposed to the sun.

2. Lack of water

Cineraria grows best in humid places. If the climate is too dry or there is not enough water, the leaves will wilt. Watering should be appropriate at ordinary times to keep the soil slightly moist, but there should be no accumulation of water, otherwise it will easily lead to root rot. If it is the rainy season, you can postpone the watering time, water less or stop watering.

3. Insufficient nutrients

Cineraria requires certain nutrients during its growth process. If it is not fertilized enough, it will grow poorly and cause its leaves to wilt. During its growing period, fertilizer should be applied every 7-10 days. Use cake fertilizer or compound fertilizer. When it comes to the budding stage, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be added, and less nitrogen fertilizer should be applied to avoid affecting flowering.

4. The temperature is too low

Cineraria generally grows in warm places and develops faster when the climate is between 20-25℃. If the temperature is too low, the plant is easily frozen, causing the leaves to wilt. In winter, you must pay attention to keeping warm and move the plants to a warm place in time, or put a plastic bag on the top of the plants to prevent them from being frozen.
