What should I do if the tiger skin plant suddenly wilts?

What should I do if the tiger skin plant suddenly wilts?

1. Improper lighting

Reason: Tiger Skin Orchid likes an environment with sufficient diffuse light. If it does not see sunlight for a long time, the Tiger Skin Orchid will not be able to synthesize nutrients and will naturally wilt. It is relatively shade-tolerant, but if it is accidentally exposed to excessive sunlight, its leaves will be burned, causing the plant to lack water and naturally wilt.

Solution: Place the snake plant in a bright place indoors and provide enough light, but it must be shielded from the scorching sun at noon in summer and should not be exposed to direct sunlight.

2. Excessive watering

Reason: The root system of Sansevieria is not very developed and is relatively drought-resistant. It cannot absorb too much water. Once it is watered too much, water will accumulate at the roots, causing the roots to rot, the absorption and transportation functions will be lost, and the leaves will naturally wilt.

Solution: Tiger tail orchid does not require much water, so during daily growth and maintenance, it is necessary to water it reasonably and give water according to its growth.

3. Low temperature

Reason: Tiger Piranha cannot tolerate low temperature environment. If the temperature is below 5 degrees Celsius for a long time, the plant may be damaged, and the leaves will wilt and become soft.

Solution: Move it indoors in winter and pay attention to maintaining a good temperature, trying to keep the temperature above 10 degrees Celsius.

4. Too much fertilizer

Reason: It needs an appropriate amount of fertilizer to grow. Once too much fertilizer is applied, the roots will rot and the leaves will wilt.

Solution: Fertilize regularly during the growing period, pay attention to the concentration of the fertilizer, and do not apply concentrated fertilizer.
