How to treat the black tip of the green radish leaf

How to treat the black tip of the green radish leaf

1. Drainage and loosening of soil

Reason: Excessive watering of the green radish causes water accumulation, which leads to poor breathing of the roots and causes the leaves to turn black.

Solution: If there is still water in the potting soil, the water needs to be drained out in time. Proper soil loosening can make moist soil dry faster. Usually, water less frequently to avoid water accumulation.

2. Proper shade

Reason: Pothos prefers to grow in a semi-shady environment. Strong light can burn its leaves, causing them to turn black.

Solution: Move the green radish to a place with diffuse light, or shade it in a sunny place. In winter and spring, when the sunlight is not strong, it can be exposed to appropriate light, which will also help its growth and increase the ambient temperature.

3. Dilute Fertilizer

Reason: The fertilizer for the green radish must be thin enough, and less fertilizer should be used in autumn and winter, otherwise it will cause the leaves to turn black.

Solution: If you apply too much fertilizer, you need to dilute the soil in the pot first to prevent the remaining fertilizer from continuing to damage the roots. You also need to take the green radish out of the pot, check the root condition, and cut off rotten roots in time. In addition, you can spray some carbendazim to prevent the wound from being eroded by bacteria.

4. Pay attention to ventilation

Reason: An environment with poor air circulation can easily cause the green radish to become sick, and it can also inhibit the breathing of the leaves, causing them to turn black.

Solution: Place the green radish in a well-ventilated place in time, but avoid the influence of cold air. In autumn and winter, you can open the windows during the noon hours when the plants receive sunlight so that they will not be frozen by low temperatures.
