What to do if the leaves of anthurium become soft

What to do if the leaves of anthurium become soft

1. Control the room temperature

1. Reasons

When the temperature is above 35 degrees or below 10 degrees, its leaves will begin to wilt.

2. Solution

It can grow normally at room temperature of 18 to 28 degrees. In summer, the temperature cannot be higher than 32 degrees. You can increase ventilation, water it more, and provide appropriate shade to cool it down. In winter, the temperature must be maintained above 14 degrees.

2. Maintain high humidity

1. Reasons

It has very high requirements for humidity when growing. If it is lower than 50%, the air will become dry and the leaves will wilt due to lack of water.

2. Solution

The humidity should be kept above 50%. When the room temperature is below 20 degrees, the indoor environment needs to be kept natural. When the temperature exceeds 28 degrees, some water should be sprayed on the leaves to increase the humidity. However, it should not be kept too moist in winter, otherwise it will easily be frozen.

3. Control the light

1. Reasons

When the light is too strong, it will burn its leaves and cause them to wilt.

2. Solution

At this time, avoid strong light exposure and move it to a place with scattered light.

4. Proper management of water and fertilizer

1. Reasons

When applying fertilizer and water to it, if the amount is too much and the frequency is too frequent, the leaves will wilt.

2. Solution

To manage water and fertilizer correctly, you can water it once every 3 days in spring and once every 2 days in summer. If the temperature is very high, you can water it once more. In winter, it is usually sufficient to water it with fertilizer once every 5 to 7 days.
