What to do if the money tree loses leaves

What to do if the money tree loses leaves

1. Reduce light

1. Reason: Money tree is very afraid of exposure to the sun. If it is placed in an environment with too strong sunlight for a long time, especially in summer, its leaves will easily be burned and cause them to fall off.

2. Solution: At this time, you need to place it in a cool or scattered light place for maintenance, so that after a period of time, the leaves will quickly return to green. At the same time, in spring, autumn and winter, you can let it enjoy the light for a long time.

2. Reduce watering

1. Reason: It is very afraid of an overly humid environment. If you water it too much, water will easily accumulate in the pot. If the roots are soaked in it all the time, the roots will rot, which will affect the transmission of nutrients and eventually cause it to lose its leaves.

2. Solution: If it is caused by too much watering, you need to check whether the roots are rotten. If so, you need to cut off the rotten roots in time, and then replace half of the soil. After that, control the amount of watering. It is best to water it once every half a month, so that the leaves can grow normally.

3. Increase air humidity

1. Reason: Although the money tree does not like places that are too humid, if the air is too dry, it will also cause it to shed leaves.

2. Solution: Money tree likes places with high air humidity, and the humidity is best at 85%, so as to meet its needs for water.

4. Increase the temperature

1. Reason: It likes a slightly warmer environment and is very afraid of cold. If it is kept in a low temperature environment for a long time, especially in winter, it is prone to frostbite, and it will start to lose leaves.

2. Solution: Raise the temperature appropriately and take certain warming measures in winter so that it can grow normally.
