What to do if the leaves of Australian cedar wither

What to do if the leaves of Australian cedar wither

Insufficient nutrition

If the leaves are wilting due to lack of nutrition, then you need to apply fertilizer. Generally, you can go to the flower shop and buy some nitrogen fertilizer, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, and inorganic chemical fertilizer. After buying them, start fertilizing immediately. You also need to apply fertilizer in stages. You cannot apply too much at one time, as too much will make the leaves turn yellow.

Too much fertilizer

Sometimes, in order to make it grow faster and greener, people start to apply a lot of fertilizer, which results in too much fertilizer. The leaves become larger and begin to wither slowly. At this time, we can only water it or change the soil, that is, pick out some soil with more fertilizer, put in some soil without fertilizer, shovel it evenly, and then water it.

The soil has a high alkali content

Because the Australian pine is not suitable for living in soil with too high alkaline content. If the alkaline content is too high, the leaves will turn yellow. At this time, we need to move it out and put it in another large pot with a lower alkaline content.

Not enough sunshine

Sometimes, if you place it in a cool place for a long time, it will cause too much water to accumulate and the leaves will turn yellow and wither. Then at this time we need to move the flower pot to a place with good sunlight, and it will gradually get better after a few days of exposure to the sun.

Too much water

Sometimes it is not good to water too much, because too much watering will cause the soil to form clods, making it airtight. If the roots are soaked in water for a long time, they will wither and then die. At this time, we need to loosen the soil with a hoe and then place it under the sun. As long as the roots are not too rotten, there is hope of saving it.

Insect damage

Generally, there are insects in the protrusions on the roots. If the insects bite the roots, there is nothing we can do. We should put some medicine into the soil to kill the insects. If you get hurt a little bit, you can survive.
