Why doesn't the leek lotus bloom?

Why doesn't the leek lotus bloom?

Why not blooming?

The reason why the leek lotus does not bloom is mostly due to improper maintenance.

Chive lotus needs sufficient light to bloom well. If the light is insufficient and the growth is poor, it will naturally affect the flowering.

When cultivating leek lotus, it needs sufficient nutrients and pay attention to the balance of nutrients. Do not apply nitrogen fertilizer alone, but ensure sufficient phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer, otherwise it will affect flowering.

Another thing is that I didn’t pay attention to maintenance during the winter. Chive lotus is not cold-resistant, but it needs a certain temperature in winter, otherwise it may not bloom well in the second year.

How to make more flowers

If you want the leek lotus to bloom and flourish, it needs reasonable care. Chive lotus needs the plant to grow well and have sufficient nutrients to bloom in order to ensure more flowering. Generally, when planting, you need to apply sufficient base fertilizer in the flowerpot and water it sufficiently. After that, regular topdressing and water supply are required. Generally, during the growth period, reasonable watering to meet the growth needs of the leek lotus, and 3-4 times of topdressing with thin liquid fertilizer can make the leek lotus grow lush.

In addition, the soil needs to be well-drained, and the growth of the plant needs to be observed frequently to avoid pests and diseases and other growth problems so that it can grow healthily.

After 2 to 3 years of potting, the leek lotus can be dug out of the pot and planted in the ground for a period of time to make the bulb of the leek lotus strong and bloom more.
