What to do if the leaves of Kalanchoe are burnt

What to do if the leaves of Kalanchoe are burnt

1. Lack of light

If there is a lack of light for a long time or insufficient light, the problem in the title will arise. At this time, you need to increase the light exposure. Except for giving it appropriate shade in the summer, you need to give it sufficient light at other times. In winter, place it on a south-facing window indoors to ensure it receives both warmth and light. If the temperature is above 5 degrees, it will not die. If you want it to grow flowers, the temperature needs to be above 15 degrees.

2. Improper watering

If there is not enough water or too much water, its leaves will also scorch. Watering should be done alternately between dry and wet times. Do not let it stay in a wet or dry state for a long time. The amount of watering should also be determined based on the weather and soil quality. If the plant has sufficient water but the leaves are still scorching, you should pay attention to whether the stem near the root has turned black. In winter, you should also add some phosphorus-containing fertilizer or slow-release fertilizer.

3. Natural Aging

If it is natural aging, its leaves will also become charred. During its growth process, due to its adaptation to the environment, it will undergo natural aging and its leaves will become charred. This situation does not require any special treatment, just cut off the burnt leaves.

4. Daily maintenance

1. If you want it to grow healthily and keep its leaves green, you must first place it in an appropriate position. You can move it to a place with scattered light for maintenance. Then also pay attention to watering it more to ensure that its leaves can absorb water normally and become tender. In this way, the leaves will return to green after a few days.

2. If it grows in summer, be sure to reduce the amount of watering and place it in a cool and ventilated area for maintenance so that the leaves will grow well. In the colder winter, be sure to keep it warm and prevent it from frostbite.
