How to treat grape yellow spot disease and what medicine to use

How to treat grape yellow spot disease and what medicine to use

1. Causes

It is infected with xanthophyllosis mostly due to three factors. One is the problem of variety. Some varieties have poor disease resistance and are easily infected by various diseases. For example, when the Kyoho variety becomes infected, the disease will be very serious. Second, the rainy season is prone to cause mildew, white rot, etc., and the infection causes too much nutrition consumption. In this way, there is less nutrients when winter comes, the physiological balance is disturbed, and the new shoots will easily turn yellow when tender leaves grow. Third, the soil is too alkaline, so the iron element will become insoluble iron and cannot be absorbed, and the leaves will turn yellow over time.

2. How to treat

This disease must be prevented in advance, and fertilizers should be applied regularly to replenish the various nutrients needed by the plant in time to promote its vigorous growth. Also pay attention to the pH value of the soil and adjust the acidity in time so that the soil is suitable and not too sticky, which is also beneficial to growth. In addition, the garden should be cleaned in winter, and all dead branches and diseased leaves should be removed to reduce the incidence of diseases.

3. What medicine to use

Now that we know the cause of the disease, it is easy to take medicine. Ferrous sulfate should be sprayed in the early stage of the disease, or it can be mixed with citric acid solution and sprayed. Use the medicine once every 7-10 days. It will be effective after two or three times, and the effect is better. Just do preventive work in the later stage.
