Pest and disease control of Chinese cabbage

Pest and disease control of Chinese cabbage

Clubroot

This disease mainly harms below the ground surface. Under the stimulation of certain bacteria, the root tissue will become larger and more numerous, thus producing tumors of varying sizes. It is not visible on the ground at first, but once the disease progresses, there will be signs of fertilizer deficiency or leaf death. For this disease, quarantine can be carried out first if it has not been discovered. Before starting to plant, it is recommended to apply 1% lime water, and then apply it 1 to 2 more times after the plants survive.

powdery mildew

This disease is also caused by fungal invasion. At first, yellow spots will appear on the leaves with no clear boundaries, then patches will form and a powdery substance will become apparent. To treat this disease, you can add phosphorus and potassium fertilizers and foliar fertilizers in a timely manner to improve resistance. In the early stage of the disease, apply 100 times the solution of 60% bacteria or Golden Century continuously.

anthrax

The disease causes grayish-white or water-soaked spots to appear on leaves, which then turn into large, circular gray-brown patches. This is also a fungal disease that mostly occurs from July to September. It is best to add enough fertilizer to the soil before planting, and do not apply only nitrogen fertilizer. Deal with diseased and rotten leaves at any time and spray them with 1000 times diluted Leaf Spot Cleaner.

Soft Rot

This is a bacterial disease that usually invades through wounds. When infected, the plant turns brown or gray and produces white bacterial slime.
