Pest and disease control of Sedum sedum

Pest and disease control of Sedum sedum

Prevention and control measures

Because these plants do not have pests that specifically target them, a variety of factors and pests may cause more or less damage to the plants. So instead of discovering the problem and then dealing with it, it is better to make adequate preventive preparations and eliminate the possibility of disease and pests from the root. The main operations are as follows:

1. Deeply plow and till the land in winter.

Winter is the season with the fewest pests in a year because the cold weather forces them to stay in a dormant state. The main pests that affect Sedum serrata are those that move, hibernate, and reproduce underground. Therefore, deep tillage during this time can expose the pests to the cold air and effectively kill them.

2. Clean the plantation regularly.

In winter, germs and fungi are not as active. At this time, clearing weeds and other waste that may breed hidden dangers in the park is both clean and hygienic, and does not give pests a chance to grow.

3. Artificial medication protection.

It is basically the same as the above two methods. It is to eliminate pests, bacteria and other factors that can induce disease when they are at their weakest. However, this method requires controlling the amount of medicine, as taking too much may backfire.

The role of Sedum sedum

If medicine is made, it can effectively relieve the pain of bruises and injuries, clear away heat and detoxify, and there are many more therapeutic effects that have not yet been discovered. Whether for ornamental or medicinal purposes, it is directly related to the health of the plants, so it is necessary for such plants to grow healthily.
