1. Seedling raising time

The time for raising seedlings is between mid-February and mid-April. The time varies according to the regions. In the northern regions, because the climate is relatively cold, the seedlings should be raised around April. In the southern regions, because the climate recovers quickly, the seedlings can be raised around mid-February.

2. Seedbed Selection

If you choose to grow seedlings in pots, you must first prepare the loam and disinfect it in advance to ensure that there is no possibility of disease and pests. If you choose to plant seedlings in the ground, you should find a sunny place and ensure that the terrain is flat. The soil should be loose and soft, with certain nutrients. It should not be too thin or too thick, and it should be kept at about 5-8 cm. In order to ensure good nutrition, you should also apply certain fertilizers, which must be decomposed organic fertilizers.

3. Processing Seed Potatoes

Choose plump seed potatoes that are free of pests and diseases and have uniform size, preferably of moderate size. After selecting, it cannot be sown immediately. It needs to be processed. In order to prevent it from carrying pathogens, you can soak it in warm water for about 10 minutes, or you can soak it in medicine.

4. Planting and raising seedlings

Sow the seed potatoes into the loam, and then pay attention to the maintenance methods. The thickness of the covering soil should be consistent to ensure that the seedlings emerge evenly and neatly.
