1. How to care for the newly bought Guanyin bamboo

Guanyin bamboo has relatively high requirements for soil during maintenance. When you first buy it, you need to choose a suitable potting soil environment for it. Generally, slightly acidic or neutral soil is the most suitable. The soil should be loose, fertile and have good permeability. You can mix farmland soil, humus soil and fine sand in a ratio of 1:2:1, and then add some forest soil on the surface.

2. Specific breeding methods

1. Light: When you first buy it, you can place it in a place with soft light for maintenance. After it slowly resumes normal growth, you can gradually give it sufficient light. It is best to keep it in a semi-shaded environment in the summer. In the winter, you can put it outside to get more sun, but not for too long.

2. Temperature: It likes a warm environment and is not cold-resistant. When you just buy it, you can place it in an environment with a temperature of about 23℃ for maintenance. Do not place it in a low temperature environment for a long time, as it is very likely to suffer frost damage. In winter, the minimum temperature must be kept above 10℃.

3. Watering: You don’t need to water too much when you first buy it, just keep the soil slightly moist. In summer, you can water it once in the morning and once in the evening every day. When the weather is dry, you can spray some water on the leaves or around the pot to ensure the humidity of the air. In winter, water the plant once every 3-4 days and spray water on the leaves. In spring and autumn, water the plant once a day. Be sure to sprinkle water around the plant to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.

4. Fertilization: Just apply an appropriate amount of fertilizer during the growth period, but do not apply fertilizer when you just buy it. It is mainly fertilized with organic fertilizer, and it is best to apply fertilizer once every 3-5 days. You can also mix livestock manure and river mud, apply a small amount, and spray the nitrogen fertilizer solution on the plants during the seedling period.
