How to remedy the root rot of the fortune tree

1. Treatment methods

If root rot occurs, the situation can still be salvaged as long as the main trunk of the above-ground part is not softened or rotted.

First, take the money tree out of the pot and completely trim off the rotten roots. Especially the main trunk that has rotted at the bottom should be removed thoroughly with sharp shears or saws. Let the wound part have fresh tissue, and then replant it into the pot.

2. Maintenance after planting

After planting, it needs to be watered normally. When its new shoots resume normal growth, apply a small amount of thin fertilizer. Do not fertilize the newly planted money tree too early, as the fertilizer will affect the growth of new roots.
