What to do if the roots of Australian fir are rotten

Timely ventilation

If it has root rot, be sure to place it in a location with good air circulation to prevent it from being too humid and keep the cultivation environment dry. If the bottom of the basin is too humid, water will easily accumulate at the roots of the Australian fir, and if it remains in a particularly moist state for a long time, exceeding its demand for water, it will easily make the roots unable to breathe. Good ventilation can keep it dry in time, so that root rot will not occur so easily. Be sure to pay special attention to ventilation.

Disinfecting flower pots

When we choose to plant Australian fir, we must choose good soil, preferably soil with good drainage to ensure the root needs. Then disinfect the flowerpot properly so that the roots are not easily infected by bacteria. When the roots rot, disinfect the flowerpot again to eliminate some bacteria at the roots. This way, the roots will not continue to be infected and the root rot phenomenon will gradually improve.

Drug control in the early stages of the disease

In the early stage of the disease of Australian pine, we can spray a little wettable powder on the above-ground part every 10 days or so. The dosage must be prepared according to the requirements. The underground part can be diluted with 70% of other chemical agents and then watered about 2 to 3 times. This will control the root rot and prevent it from becoming more serious. All the bacteria can be killed in the early stage of the disease. The survival rate will also be high.

Replanting

When root rot occurs, we can remove the twisted roots and rotten roots, then spray the wounds with a special spray, let them dry and then plant them again, and they will survive well.

Drug spraying treatment

If the rot fungi at the roots of the Australian fir are relatively active and difficult to suppress, we can then spray them with some appropriate drugs to completely eliminate them.
