How much is the yield of Gaola 819 pepper (introduction to the characteristics of Gaola 819 chili pepper variety)

High-spicy 819 pepper production

Gaola produces 1,200 kilograms of dried peppers and about 6,000 kilograms of fresh peppers in 819 acres . The bright red fruits are available on the market about 75 days after transplanting. Each plant has many fruits and strong resistance. It is available on the market one month earlier than conventional varieties, so it can be planted on wheat stubble.

It is very spicy, has a high market price, and has a yield three times that of conventional varieties. Fresh peppers are available early, and dried peppers are naturally air-dried without peeling. It is the only high-spicy chili pepper variety in China that can be used both fresh and dried!

In many provinces east of Inner Mongolia, the crops can be air-dried and harvested in one go, which greatly reduces labor input costs and increases yields by 6,000 to 9,000 yuan per mu.

Features of the spicy 819 pepper

① Variety characteristics

Gaola 819 is a Thai hybrid solitary chili pepper variety. It matures very early, grows vigorously, has strong disease resistance, is 90 cm tall, has a strong upright plant, small leaves, and small sheep horn-shaped fruits with a strong spicy taste. The fruit is 8-12 cm long and 1.1 cm wide.

The leaves are usually 3-pinnate compound leaves, 25-60 cm long, with linear or club-shaped slightly curved glands at the base of the pinnae, most of which are deciduous, the petiole is weak, the base is sheath-like, the pinnae are 4-6 pairs, the leaflets are 3-9, thin papery, and ovate.

② Planting points

819 has strong adaptability and can be grown in most parts of the country. It can be planted in the open field or in greenhouses and small sheds in autumn. High-water and high-fertilizer fields have the potential to produce more than 1,000 kilograms of dried pepper per mu. It can be eaten fresh, made into sauce, chopped, dried, pickled, exported and processed.

The spring planting number is 2700-2900 trees, and the wheat stubble planting number is 2800-3000 trees, with fine-tuning based on the north-south climate.

In terms of planting, the plant spacing is 30-45 cm, the row spacing is 45-60 cm, and the ridge spacing is 90-100 cm.

Scientific planting and ventilation are easy to grow. It is better not to bury the leaf nodes when transplanting to prevent the seedling roots from being empty. Fertile land should be sparse, thin land should be dense, early planting should be sparse, late planting should be dense.
