The causes and treatments of yellow leaves of seven-mile olive

The causes and treatments of yellow leaves of seven-mile olive

1. The temperature is too low

1. Reason: The most suitable temperature for its growth is between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius. If the temperature drops below 10 degrees Celsius, its growth will be extremely slow. If it stays in an environment below 10 degrees Celsius for a long time, the leaves will wither and turn yellow.

2. Treatment method: If the temperature is too low in winter, it needs to be moved to a breathable, warm and ventilated room for maintenance. After the cold winter period the leaves will slowly return to normal.

2. Excessive watering

1. Reason: It likes a warm and humid environment, but cannot tolerate waterlogging. During cultivation, if you water too much, water will accumulate in the soil and cannot be discharged. In this way, its roots will not be able to absorb the necessary water from the soil normally, resulting in yellow leaves.

2. Treatment method: Take it out from the previous culture soil together with a small part of the soil, and cut off the yellow leaves and crooked roots on it. Then place it in a ventilated place, and after a few hours transplant it into a well-drained culture soil and take good care of it.

3. Nutrient deficiency

1. Reason: During the growth and development of sweet olive, due to its strong metabolism, it needs timely top dressing. If topdressing is not done in time, it may lead to insufficient nutrients and the leaves will gradually turn yellow and fall off.

2. Treatment method: During the growth period, you should use compound diluted fertilizers containing N, K, and P elements, and the frequency of fertilization should be maintained at about once every 15 days. If top dressing is applied in time, the leaves will gradually return to their previous appearance.
