How to grow the lucky tree in autumn

How to grow the lucky tree in autumn

1. Reasonable watering

In autumn, the amount and frequency of watering are not always the same. Because the temperature is still relatively high in early autumn, but it will gradually drop over time and will be very low in late autumn. Therefore, we also need to adjust watering according to the temperature. When the temperature is high, you can water more, and reduce it when the temperature drops. Before watering, you can first observe the condition of the surface soil and determine whether to water based on its dryness and wetness.

2. Suitable lighting

When autumn just begins, the light is still quite strong, so at the beginning you need to shield the lucky tree from too strong light to avoid burning its leaves. However, in the middle and even late stages, the light will not be particularly strong, and it will slowly enter the wintering stage, so it is better to provide sufficient light during this period, which is conducive to autumn growth and subsequent wintering.

3. Appropriate amount of fertilizer

In autumn, it does not require much fertilizer, but you can use some in moderation. You don't need to do it too often, once a month is enough. You can combine watering with adding some liquid fertilizer. Be careful not to make the concentration too high.

4. Repotting

You can repot once in autumn. You can choose a slightly larger flowerpot with holes at the bottom, then choose peat soil and mix in some base fertilizer as the substrate, which will help it survive the winter. Water thoroughly after repotting.
