Causes and treatments for yellowing leaves of Jade Plant

Causes and treatments for yellowing leaves of Jade Plant

1. Lack of sunlight

1. Reason: Jade plants like sunlight. If it is placed in a very dark place during maintenance, it will not be able to synthesize nutrients normally due to the lack of sunlight, resulting in yellow leaves.

2. Treatment method: At this time, the plant needs to be moved to a location with sufficient light for maintenance. Once it receives enough light and successfully synthesizes nutrients, it will be able to recover.

2. Soil Deterioration

1. Reason: When raising it, you need to replace the soil every 1-2 years. This will ensure that the soil is always suitable for its growth. If the soil is not changed for a long time, the nutrients in the soil will become less and less. The plant will not be able to absorb enough nutrients and will turn yellow.

2. Treatment method: Remove the plant from the pot and remove the old soil in the pot. Then prepare some loose, breathable, and fertile new soil and put it into the pot, and then plant the plants in it for cultivation.

3. Excessive watering

1. Reason: Its roots are afraid of waterlogging. If you water it too frequently, water may accumulate in the soil, causing yellow leaves.

2. Treatment method: First, move the plant to a place with good ventilation and cut off all the yellow leaves. Then keep it ventilated and let the soil dry. After that, move it back to its original place, stop watering for a while, and wait for it to recover.
