What to do if the tip of Spathiphyllum leaf dries up

What to do if the tip of Spathiphyllum leaf dries up

1. Waiting for adaptation

If Spathiphyllum has just been exposed to a new environment, it may not be able to adapt because the surrounding environment has changed, and the tips of its leaves will dry up. There is no need to worry about this situation, as it is a normal phenomenon. Just provide good maintenance factors and wait for it to adapt. When it just moves to a new environment, don't rush to change the pot or soil.

2. Block out the sun

Spathiphyllum prefers a semi-shaded growing environment. If it is exposed to strong light in the summer, the leaf tips will be burned and lack water, causing the leaf tips to dry out. It can be moved to a semi-shaded environment and exposed to soft scattered light. It can be placed in front of a bright windowsill and strong light can be blocked in time in summer to avoid burns.

3. Reduce moisture

Adequate water is conducive to its growth, but if too much water is applied, the consequences will be serious. Problems will occur in the roots, making it difficult to supply water and nutrients normally, and the leaf tips will also dry up. Pay attention to watering at ordinary times. Once too much water is applied, stop watering and loosen the soil in the flowerpot in time to promote water flow.

4. Reduce Fertilizer

Too concentrated a fertilizer can also damage the roots and cause the leaf tips to dry out. Watering is needed to dilute the fertilizer so that excess fertilizer can flow out of the pot.
