What to do if the leaves of Vanda orchid turn yellow

Reasons for yellowing leaves of Vanda orchid

Water yellow

The soil is lacking in oxygen because of long-term accumulation of water in the flowerpot. This condition will cause a small part of the roots to rot, and will also lead to poor water absorption and weakened ability to absorb fertilizer. The new leaves will be dark yellow and have no luster on the surface. The tips of new leaf tips will shrink, and the branches and stems will become small and appear yellow-green.

Governance

The soil should be loosened in time, the amount of watering should be reduced, and the use of fertilizers should be stopped. In serious cases, the soil and plants in the pot can be taken out, dried, and then put back.
