How to grow ash wood

How to grow ash wood

1. Plenty of sunlight

It is a succulent plant that likes to grow in sufficient sunlight. If there is insufficient sunlight, its growth will be affected, and it will become weak and its branches and leaves will wither. Therefore, the place where it is placed must be able to fully enjoy the sunlight to ensure normal growth. Especially during the period from April to October each year, which is the growth period, it is best to place it in a sunny place outdoors. If placed indoors, choose a bright place. There is no need to block the sunlight in summer.

2. Proper moisture

It can tolerate drought, but needs adequate watering, so water it less when it is first planted. During the growing season, it needs to be kept moist, but not too wet. In winter, when the climate is extremely cold, there is no need to water it.

3. Supplement fertilizer

It likes fertilizer nutrition very much. During the growth stage, fertilizer should be applied every 2-3 weeks to ensure that the nutrition is replenished. However, the concentration cannot be too high and needs to be diluted. No fertilizer is needed in winter.

4. Change the pot regularly

The pot needs to be changed every 1-2 years, preferably in spring, and the pot should be slightly larger. The new soil must be breathable and have drainage properties. It can be mixed with garden soil, leaf mold and coarse sand, and then add an appropriate amount of bone meal to ensure nutrition.
