How to water Clivia and how many days to water it

How to water Clivia and how many days to water it

1. Watering method

There are no strict regulations on watering during the maintenance of Clivia. The correct way to water is to slowly pour the prepared clean water along the edge of the pot after the soil becomes dry. When watering, make sure the soil is thoroughly irrigated, and don't water it too much, especially when it is flowering. Don't water the flowers and leaf cores, because water evaporates slowly. If the ventilation is poor, it will easily rot.

2. How many days should I water?

1. Spring and autumn: This is the time when it grows faster, and the demand for water is also very high. There must be sufficient water in the soil. You can water it 2-3 times a week depending on the situation. When it rains, you should take shelter in time and avoid getting wet.

2. Summer: After entering summer, the temperature will become very high and water will evaporate quickly. Therefore, in order to prevent the plants from drying out, in addition to watering them in time, you should also spray water on the leaves.

3. Winter: When the temperature is very low in winter, it will enter a dormant state. The plant grows very slowly and has very low requirements for water. During the winter, the cultivation soil needs to be kept dry, and generally watering once every half a month or so is sufficient. But the specific watering time should be based on the evaporation rate of water. Do not water if the soil is not dry.
