How to grow Cordyceps

How to grow Cordyceps

1. Breeding environment

1. Soil: When breeding, the soil should be loose, well-drained, humus-containing and slightly acidic. You can mix leaf mold, garden soil and river sand. In addition, it is best to add a small amount of fertilizer before potting, so that the growth will be better in the later stage.

2. Light: When cultivating, it should be placed in a place with scattered light, not in strong light or in a cool place, otherwise it will easily cause the leaves to turn yellow and affect growth.

3. Temperature: It is suitable for growing in an environment with a temperature between 20 degrees and 35 degrees. It has poor cold resistance, so the temperature needs to be controlled in winter. It cannot be kept in an environment below 10 degrees, otherwise it will get frostbite.

4. Watering: Water frequently during the growing season to keep it moist. However, you should also pay attention to the amount of water. Do not allow water to accumulate, otherwise the leaves will easily turn yellow or fall off.

5. Fertilization: It does not require much fertilizer to grow. Just apply fertilizer occasionally during the growing season. Be careful to use low concentrations, as high concentrations can easily burn the roots.

2. Common pests and diseases

If the environment is not suitable during maintenance, it is easy to cause diseases and pests, which will harm the growth of plants, such as scale insects, leaf spot and anthracnose. When discovered, spray pesticides in time to prevent and control them, and do not let them deteriorate.
