How to change the pot of the newly bought lilac, how to grow lilac

How to change the pot of the newly bought lilac, how to grow lilac

1. How to change the pot

1. Take out the plant: If the lilac flowers you just bought are bare-root seedlings, there is no need to remove them from the pot. If the lilac comes with a flowerpot, it needs to be replaced if the soil inside is not suitable for later growth. Do not water or fertilize before repotting, keep the plant relatively dry, then loosen the soil around it and hold the pot to take out the plant.

2. Pruning and disinfection: After taking out the plant, knock off the soil on the roots and remove it. Prepare a lot of fungicide solution and soak the roots in it for disinfection. Prune the roots appropriately, cut off the rotten and dead roots, and place them in a ventilated place to dry.

3. Prepare the soil: There are not too many requirements for the soil. It should be able to tolerate barrenness and have strong adaptability to the soil. It only needs to provide loose, soft acidic soil.

4. Planting in pots: Choose a suitable flower pot, preferably a deep pot, so that the roots can stretch and grow normally. Fill the pot with soil, plant the lilac in it, and cover with soil.

2. How to raise

After repotting, you must pay attention to maintenance. Avoid exposure to strong light. Place it in a cool and ventilated place to acclimate. After the acclimatization is completed, you can maintain it normally, give it plenty of sunlight, and apply water and fertilizer reasonably.
