1. Cutting method

1. Prepare the soil: Before starting cuttings, prepare well-drained and breathable soil. Suitable soil will be more conducive to the rooting of branches. If you prepare the soil yourself, you can mix peat soil, wood ash and perlite, and make sure to disinfect it before grafting.

2. Select cuttings: When choosing cuttings, choose from healthy mother plants. The cuttings should be in healthy condition. If there are signs of disease or insect infestation on them, they should be reselected. After choosing, dip it in indolebutyric acid, or apply some wood ash on the cut.

3. Carry out cuttings: Insert the processed baby's breath cuttings into the soil, about 1/3 or 2/3 of the depth, and cover them with surrounding soil. Finally, spray some water into the soil to make it moist, and control the temperature at 20℃. Then wait for up to one month for new roots to grow.

2. How long does it take for the cuttings to bloom?

Its flowering period is from May to July. How long it takes for it to bloom after cuttings depends a lot on the maintenance method, so there is no exact time. If the maintenance method is reasonable, it may bloom in the same year. If the maintenance method is unreasonable, the flowering time will be prolonged. Be sure to add water after cuttings, and slowly increase the light after it grows roots.
