How to manage Clivia after wiping the head

How to manage Clivia after wiping the head

1. Disinfection

After the Clivia is finished with the wiping work, the wound area should be disinfected. Normally, you can apply wood ash in an appropriate amount, or you can use carbendazim disinfectant, because disinfection can prevent infection. Please note that disinfection is extremely important. Failure to do so will seriously affect the success rate.

2. Keep the soil moist

During the period when the plant is sprouting new leaves, it does not need to be watered too much. Generally, as long as the soil is moist, it can be done, but not too dry. It needs to nourish its roots before it sprouts new buds. If there is too much or too little water, the growth of the roots will deteriorate, thus affecting the sprouting of new buds.

3. Normal maintenance

After completing the disinfection and planting work, there is no need for too much special maintenance work, just normal cultivation. It needs a little light at ordinary times and ensure that its growing environment has good ventilation. If the temperature is relatively high during its recovery period, it needs to be lowered according to the actual situation. The temperature cannot be too high.

IV. Precautions

When applying it, you should try to choose a relatively sunny day, not on cloudy or rainy days. Moreover, the tools used for wiping the head should also be clean, and it is best to disinfect them in advance, so as to better ensure the success rate of wiping the head.
