1. How to grow lilies

Flower pot: To grow lilies, you need to choose a flower pot that is relatively large and has sufficient depth. Because lilies have relatively large bulbs and lush, abundant root systems, they require a certain depth for the flowerpot. A deeper flowerpot will help its roots expand and better absorb nutrients from the soil.

Soil: It is best to choose slightly acidic or neutral flower soil with good air permeability and rich in humus. It is not advisable to choose soil with heavy clay texture, poor drainage and easy to cause waterlogging, which is not conducive to the growth of plants.

Light: Lilies love light. It needs to be kept in a full-sun environment so that it can grow healthier. If there is insufficient light, the number of flowers will decrease later.

Fertilization: Lilies like fertilizer and have a relatively large demand for fertilizer, especially potassium. During daily maintenance, it is necessary to apply some fertilizer containing potassium to supplement the nutrients needed for its growth.

Temperature: The suitable temperature for growing lilies is around 15-25 degrees Celsius. Temperatures that are too high or too low are not suitable for its growth. Therefore, when the temperature is too high in summer, it is necessary to provide shade and cool it down by spraying water. Pay attention to keeping it warm in winter, and the temperature of the maintenance environment should not be lower than 10 degrees Celsius.

Watering: Lilies are relatively drought-tolerant, but are also afraid of waterlogging. Daily watering only requires keeping the soil moist, without causing water accumulation. In spring and autumn, you can water the plants once every five days. In summer, you can increase the frequency of watering appropriately. In winter, you can reduce or even stop watering.
