How to grow Murraya paniculata in pots

How to grow Murraya paniculata in pots

1. Soil

There are certain requirements for the soil. It needs to have good drainage and contain certain nutrients. Sandy soil containing humus can be used. The soil prepared in this way can be conducive to growth and ensure the later growth needs.

2. Sunlight

It prefers sunlight, and only by ensuring this condition can it promote healthy growth. It should be placed in a sunny place with sufficient light. It can be placed on a balcony or directly grown outdoors. If there is a lack of sunlight, it will affect its growth and cause it to become weak.

3. Water

It is drought-tolerant, so it does not need too much watering. It can be watered once a month during the growing season to ensure that it is not overly dry. There is a lot of rainfall in the summer rainy season, so you should take precautions to avoid rain and prevent waterlogging and root rot.

4. Fertilization

During the growing period, you can apply thin fertilizer every 10-15 days to ensure sufficient nutrients and maintain good later growth, but the concentration should not be too high.

5. Temperature

It likes to grow in warm places and grows faster at suitable temperatures, which should be kept at around 20-32℃. It cannot withstand cold climates. When the temperature drops in winter, it needs to be moved indoors in time to overwinter. It must not be lower than 0℃, otherwise the plant will die.
