How to fertilize and how much to apply to Barbary

How to fertilize and how much to apply to Barbary

1. How to fertilize

1. Frequency: Barbary aconite has certain requirements for fertilizer, so fertilizer management must be in place. During the growing season, top dressing should be applied every 2 to 3 weeks. During the slow growth period, the demand for fertilizer is less, so the frequency of fertilization can be reduced. If fertilization is still frequent at this time, it will easily burden the roots and burn them.

2. Fertilizer: Apply sufficient base fertilizer before planting, and you can use rotted animal manure. During the growth stage, there are nutrient requirements for various elements. Organic liquid fertilizer or compound chemical fertilizer can be used, both of which can fully meet the growth needs. In order to ensure the flowers bloom before flowering, you can add a little phosphorus and potassium fertilizer.

3. Usage: Solid fertilizer can be buried under the soil layer and the fertilizer effect will be released slowly. Liquid fertilizers can be diluted with water to promote plant absorption without causing root burn.

2. How much to give

In the daily growth of barberry, the amount of fertilizer applied should be appropriate, not too much or too little, otherwise it will be detrimental to its growth. If too little is applied, nutrients will be difficult to supply for growth and will need to be added again as appropriate. If too much fertilizer is applied, the roots will find it difficult to absorb it completely, resulting in residual fertilizer and easily leading to root burn. You can add an appropriate amount of water to dilute it.
