How to grow apple seeds

How to grow apple seeds

1. Remove the seeds

During daily growth, select plump and healthy fruits, eat the outer flesh, and take out the intact seeds inside. Remove the pulp wrapped around the seeds, do not leave it on top, then wash it in clean water to avoid juice remaining on it.

2. Soaking and germination

After taking out the seeds, soak them in warm water for 8-12 hours to soften the shell and facilitate germination and seedling growth. After taking out the seeds, place them on soaked gauze. If there is no gauze, you can also use a sturdy paper towel and cover it with plastic wrap, which can keep them fresh and moisturized. Then place them in an environment of 25 degrees Celsius. After 2-3 days, they will germinate.

3. Prepare the soil

The flowerpot used for seedling cultivation does not need to be too large. If you don’t have a suitable flowerpot, you can use a plastic box or something similar instead. The soil you choose should be breathable, well-drained, and contain sufficient nutrients. After preparation, spray water to keep it moist.

4. Seeding and Seedling Raising

After all this is prepared, you can sow the apple seeds, cover them with a thin layer of soil, gently compact the loam, and place it in a sunny place. After a period of time, seedlings will grow.
