What to do if the tiger skin plant does not grow or sprout

1. Reduce watering

Reason: Sansevieria is very afraid of waterlogging, so never water it excessively. If you water it too much, the roots will rot and grow poorly, which will cause the plant to not grow or sprout new leaves.

Solution: Watering should be done reasonably, and you should pay attention to controlling the water when it is necessary. If there is water accumulated in the pot, it should be drained immediately. If the roots are rotten, remove the plant from the pot and trim the roots as soon as possible, then put it back in the pot after drying.

2. Replace the flower pot

Reason: The diameter of the flowerpot used for growing Sansevieria cannot be too small. If the pot is too small, it will hinder the growth of the plant's roots, and the nutrients in the soil cannot be supplied to the plant, resulting in this adverse performance.

Solution: Replace it with a larger flowerpot. The diameter of the pot can be slightly larger, and the flowerpot should not be too deep. A flowerpot that is too deep is not conducive to the breathing and growth of the plant roots.

3. Regularly turn the soil

Reason: The soil used for planting must have good air permeability. If the soil is not turned over for a long time, it will become compacted and airtight. The growth of plants growing in such soil will deteriorate, and not only will they not grow, they will also not sprout new buds.
