1. Site selection

The selected soil should be unpolluted and not contaminated by heavy metals. It should face the sun and have good drainage. The soil should be fertile, loose and breathable.

2. Varieties

The choice of varieties should be based on the specific planting time. If planting before the end of March, choose late-maturing seeds. If planting after the end of March, choose early- to mid-maturing seeds.

3. Fertilizer

When planting Chinese cabbage, you should sprinkle organic fertilizer water on the plants. If you have farmyard manure mixed in the soil, you can apply some to the Chinese cabbage on a sunny day.

4. Pests

You should frequently weed the fields. You can sprinkle some wood ash on the seedlings to prevent pests, or you can use insect killer lamps to lure and kill pests.

2. Planting time

1. The planting time of different varieties is also different. Autumn and winter cabbage can be sown in August and mid-October.

2. If you use a greenhouse for planting, you can postpone sowing until November. In places with higher temperatures, you can start sowing in September.
