How to grow Teyulian in spring

How to grow Teyulian in spring

1. Replace the flower pot

The growth ability of the Jade Lotus is very strong in spring, and changing the pot at this time will help it adapt to the new environment. Because the old soil has absorbed nutrients for a long time and has very few nutrients, it cannot meet its needs. It is necessary to replace it with new soil and mix base fertilizer into the soil to increase nutrition, so that its nutrient supply and demand will be met.

When repotting, clean up the old soil and cut off the rotten and dry roots. After pruning, place the plant in a cool place to dry, then plant it in new potting soil. After successful planting, it needs to be placed in a semi-shaded place to allow it to adapt to the new potting soil, and it can be maintained normally after a week.

2. Control watering

Succulent plants can store water and are drought-resistant. If they are overwatered, root rot may occur easily. In spring, it is generally necessary to water once or twice a month. The amount of water does not need to be too much, just make sure the soil is completely moist. If the temperature is too high, you can spray water around it to increase the humidity.

3. Appropriate lighting

It likes sunlight, but cannot tolerate strong light. In early spring, it can be placed in a sunny place to receive sunlight all day. The sunlight in late spring is relatively strong, so when the sun is strong, you should move it to a cool place for maintenance. If it is maintained outdoors, you can place it under a big tree, but this method is not suitable for early spring, as the temperature fluctuates greatly in early spring and it is easy to get frostbite.
