1. Soil:

The North China Pearl Bush has strong adaptability to soil and can survive in most soils. It is drought-tolerant and is best grown in deep, fertile, well-drained sandy loam.

2. Fertilization:

The North China Pearl Bush does not have high requirements for fertilizer. It only needs to apply base fertilizer during cultivation. No top dressing is needed in the later stage. It only needs to apply base fertilizer once a year within 1 to 2 years.

3. Watering:

The North China Pearl Bush needs sufficient water during its growth period and should be watered frequently. During droughts, the frequency of watering should be increased, and antifreeze water should be applied once before winter.

4. Temperature:

North China Pearlberry likes warmth and is cold-resistant. It can safely overwinter at temperatures not lower than -25°C and can generally survive. The most suitable planting temperature is 18-25°C

5. Pest and disease control:

1. Diseases: The main diseases of North China Pearl Bush are leaf spot and powdery mildew. They can damage the Chinese pearl bush and its leaves, causing them to develop poorly and fall off. After the disease occurs, the affected parts should be cut off in time, the diseased plants should be burned completely, and 1% Bordeaux liquid should be sprayed for prevention and control.

2. Pests: The main pests of North China Pearlwood are beetles and leaf cicadas, which will suck the leaves and sap of North China Pearlwood, affecting the normal development and growth of the plant. You can spray 800-1000 times of 90% dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane solution 1-2 times to effectively control their damage.
