1. Maintenance methods

1. Soil: Moringa seeds can be planted in sandy loam, which has fast water infiltration and good ventilation performance, and meets the geological requirements for cultivating moringa seeds.

2. Water: Keep it moist when it is a seedling. After it grows into a strong plant, it can adapt to dry soil. It does not require much water and appropriate watering will be enough.

3. Nutrients: The time for fertilization is generally during the seedling stage and the picking stage. Just use the dissolved compound fertilizer to water the soil. Stove ash is also a good choice. Both of these can provide sufficient nutrients.

4. Light: It is a light-loving plant because its roots can be deeply rooted in the soil. It can grow as long as it is not exposed to direct sunlight and can grow at a temperature of 48°C.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Pruning: In order to increase the branching and harvesting convenience of its branches, the plant will be pruned to less than one meter in winter, and its young leaves can be harvested once every half a month.

2. Reproduction: Seedling transplanting is a method of reproduction with a very high survival rate for Moringa seeds. When picking seeds, choose smaller ones, then grow them in nutrient cups, and then transplant them after growing them. When transplanting, just protect the roots to avoid damage.

3. Problem diagnosis and treatment

1. Leaf miner: The plant itself has strong resistance. When facing minor diseases and pests, it will use its own resistance to eliminate them. However, when faced with leaf miners, they usually need to be removed manually.

2. Root rot: When planting Moringa seedlings, just keep the soil moist. If you water too much, the roots will rot. When root rot is discovered, it should be dealt with promptly and drainage should be ensured.

IV. Other issues

1. Is it edible? It is edible. The picked Moringa seeds need to be shelled. It is important to note that the root part is not edible.

2. Is it poisonous? Moringa seeds are non-toxic, but its roots are toxic, so try to avoid contact with its roots.
